Young rider with horses

This work by Barbara Dombrowski shows a Mongolian boy riding a typical Mongolian small horse with ease without a saddle and holding another horse by the hand, in Mongolia (2016).

The Gobi Desert stretches out in the background. The image is particularly striking because it was taken as part of a photographic climate documentation project and vividly illustrates the aridity and the expansion of the desert.
